Koksilah River – A favourite dog walk
What does this picture have to do with content? Nothing and everything.
Let me explain.
This is a picture of an area near me where I take my dog for a walk. It has nothing to do with email or content marketing per se. It doesn’t tell you how to gain new followers or customers through email marketing, social media posts or a blog. It’s just a picture of a river on a cool, foggy day.
Yet, this picture creates a story. It tells you a little about me. You now know I have a dog; a big black lab named Diesel. I enjoy walking on one of the many trails near me. I live in a picturesque location surrounded by nature. I also like to take pictures when I am out meandering through the trails. It creates a connection. I shared a part of my life.
Content is more than just words on a page. An image can be very powerful.
It can:
